I love when people share their sketchbook with all the messy and imperfect parts, so here is mine.
It gets better towards the end but I like all the parts.
I tried a lot of different things in it, drawing, painting with coffee, pasting things, etc., and I let my kids draw into it too.
It really helps not to be precious about a sketchbook and let yourself experiment. Go wild. Draw small comics, try out paints and new pens, scribble, doodle, whatever.
Looking through this journal makes me feel emotional because there are so many memories in here. Homeschooling days with the kids, a trip to Sardinia and going through chemotherapy, another time when making art helped me tremendously.
