How to use Voice Notes to Capture and Organize Content Ideas

Today I want to share my experience using the free app voice notes and how I use it to capture and organize content ideas.

My brain can be quite scattered sometimes, and it’s great to have a tool that lets me record all these random thoughts whenever they come up and is able to give me an overview of everything I’ve recorded. 

It’s like having a personal assistant who keeps track of all the important things I might otherwise forget.

It’s also a great tool for creating from flow.

By making quick recordings of any good thoughts that come to mind, you can compile a treasure trove of potential content. It’s a great way to ensure you never run out of inspiration when you’re ready to create.

Step 1: Capture Ideas

The first step is to start recording your ideas as soon as they bubble up in your mind. 

This can be while you’re taking a walk, or going about your day. Don’t worry about making these recordings perfect. In the beginning, it’s all about getting into the habit of capturing your thoughts. 

When I first started using voice notes, I didn’t even know how to make it work for me. I just recorded snippets of whatever came up, even if it seemed unimportant. Things like my shopping list, tasks I needed to remember, or random thoughts about work or life.

The key is to start practicing and not be concerned with the quality of these initial recordings.

Step 2: Build your Collection

Keep recording those little notes and ideas. After a few notes or a few days, you can ask the AI in your app questions about your notes. For example, you might ask what’s on your to-do list or what ideas you have for a blog post. 

You can even ask for a personality analysis based on the content you’ve recorded. It’s a fun way to get a confidence boost and see yourself from a new perspective.

Step 3: Organize and Review

Let AI organize your notes for you. You can go through them yourself and pick out what sounds promising. Or you can ask the app questions about your notes.

You can ask AI various questions to generate content ideas, such as:

1. What topics are currently trending in my area of interest or niche?
2. Can you help me brainstorm video ideas related to my voice notes for content creation?
3. What are some unique angles or perspectives I have regarding my topics?
4. How can I incorporate AI or technology in my process of organizing and refining content ideas?
5. Based on the content I’ve created so far, what are some gaps or new areas I could explore in future content?

If you are a beginner and don’t know yet what you want to talk or write about, you could use voice notes to talk about anything that interests you and do that for a few days. Then you ask the app what topics you could write about, and see if anything AI comes up with resonates with you.

So, next time you’re struck with inspiration, remember to grab your phone, hit record, and let your thoughts flow.
