I would like to knit 2 beanies for my grandkids.
one is a girl of 3 years and 3 months and one is for a boy of 16 months.
have you got a pattern perhaps for that age.
thank you.
rojene.
This baby hat is size 0 to 6 months, but I have another post on knitting a hat without a pattern. In this post I show you how to knit a hat in any size: https://thewildcherryfarm.com/how-to-knit-a-hat-without-a-pattern/ hope that helps. Let me know how it goes! 🙂
Please clarify on decreasing the crown: Do you mean K6, then K2 together, then continue knitting the rest of the row as usual? Or K2 together every 6 stitches? Thank you.
Hi Julia, thanks for your question. To decrease the crown, you knit K6, K2 together, K6, K2 together, K6, K2 together, and so on, until the end of the row. So in this row you would go from 56 stitches to 49 stitches. Let me know if you have any more questions.
