2023 was a challenging year for us but also full of wonderful moments, growth and learning.
Three months of chemotherapy wasn’t easy but I learned more about nurturing myself than ever before.
Whenever I felt helpless I could focus on Self-Care.
Even though there might be many things that are beyond my control, looking after myself is a choice that I can always make.
I can be good to myself. I can prioritise being kind and gentle with myself.
So I created a printable Self-Care Planner for myself to keep on track with all the healthy habits I want to focus on and remember.
I really enjoy taking out my planner in the morning and choosing ways of nurturing myself first thing. Simple things like drinking a big glass of water (or warm water on cold mornings), listening to a guided meditation or preparing a healthy breakfast for myself all make such a huge difference.
It sets the mood for the whole day if I take some time to nourish myself in the morning.
